Adeline, 21, is a beacon of light to all who meet her despite facing daily struggles that confine her to her basement room due to the inaccessibility of the home and the need for ambulance access. She lives with her single mom, who is also facing health challenges, which makes transfers very difficult. Adeline is unable to use the bathroom independently, requiring her to use a bedpan for daily care. The only way to reach the bathroom is by going outside and around the back porch. Her home is not currently equipped to provide the independence she deeply longs for.

Estimated Project Cost: $50,000
