She often opens the bathtub door when full and floods the bathroom, or accidentally adjusts the temperature of the water and putting herself at risk of potentially suffering a burn.

Project Needs

  • Demo the medical closet that is next to the tub to create more space for a larger bathtub

  • Replace walk-in tub with a regular tub of 60 inches

  • Raise the height of mixing valve

  • Remove the top bunk of bed in the bedroom for easier access to Ava for caregivers

  • Remove baseboards in bathroom and replace
