Matthias, 11, is a happy boy with a twin brother who also has special needs. After several major surgeries to his legs, he continues to work hard in his therapies with positive determination. Lifting and carrying Matthias by his mom is a challenge and has led to illness, pain, and fatigue. Mattias and his family need modifications to their bathroom and the entry/exit to their house to make it a safe and accessible home for him.

  • Replace current sink with roll-under sink

  • Install handrail in garage for safer home entry

  • Provide transfer belt with loops to assist caregivers during standing and mobility support
